In Memoriam: Jane Davey
Everyone at the RMA is devastated by the tragic death of our Board Member, Jane Davey.
We are devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of our much-loved Board Member, Jane Davey, who died on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
Jane joined our Board in 2017. As Principle Litigation Solicitor for Highland Council for over 20 years, she and brought her exceptional legal knowledge, skills and experience to improve the work of the RMA. Jane’s understanding of multi-agency public protection and devotion to upholding human rights will continue to have an impact on what we do for years to come.
Our Board Convener, David Crawford, said: “As a member of the board for the last 6 years, Jane contributed through her legal knowledge and expertise, and through the forensic scrutiny she provided on a wide range of issues. Her death is a tragedy for her family and her loss is deeply felt by everyone associated with the Risk Management Authority.”
As a team, we will dearly miss Jane’s expertise, kindness and generosity. Our thoughts are with Jane’s family, friends and colleagues at this sad time.
